My Why and Credentials

Why?

I’ve always enjoyed math (weirdo, right?!). Then at my job, I began working on bank reconciliations, entering journal entries, and learning how a business works. Completing these duties led to my love for bookkeeping and understanding the importance of doing it in an efficient way.
 
Helping people is my other “why”. In my line of work, I can help business owners do what they enjoy, and bookkeeping is not usually one of those things!
 
This is something I truly enjoy, AND I can help people? DONE! I get so much joy from knowing I’ve had even a tiny part in helping someone else live their best life.

I have completed the Bookkeeper Launch Program and received my QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certified.

Prior to Bookkeeping with Love

I grew up in Riverdale, GA and eventually went to Virginia Tech on a softball scholarship. After 2.5 years, I came back to Georgia and graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I have three beautiful children, and they are definitely my greatest accomplishments. I’m so proud to be their mama! My wonderful husband is in the Navy, which has allowed our family to live in San Diego, Hawaii, and now Virginia.
